100 West Café is a food laboratory for students in our HRTM 3310 and 4320 classes to provide hands on experience in food preparation and service. This semester we have a new menu and decor courtesy of our HRTM 3210 Marketing class and are proud to introduce the Westside Bistro lunch series. We are located in Gerald Thomas Hall at 940 College Drive on NMSU's Main Campus in Las Cruces, NM.
Our delicious lunches are available on Fridays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for dine-in or carryout with a $2 surcharge for carryout. We are featuring a "a la carte" menu that allows you to design the meal you want with a selection of appetizers, entrees, desserts and sides as well as weekly specials designed by our students.
We are no longer accepting individual reservations for tables. However, for reservations of parties of 8 or more, please contact Danielle Young at danielly@nmsu.edu.
Seating will start at 11:00 am and end at 1:00 pm. To place a carryout order, please call 575-646-5805 on the day of service between 9 am and 11 am.
While we appreciate your support of our program, we ask that you not tip the students. Instead, if you would like to make a donation to the program, please see someone in the HRTM office.
NOTE: Menu items may change from those listed on the website due to availability/supply chain issues. No service on March 14 or April 18 due to Spring holidays.

Westside Bistro Menu - Spring 2025
Appetizers:
Chilled Avocado Soup: Creamy avocado soup topped with a crunchy garlic oil. $6
Fried Buffalo Artichoke Hearts: Battered artichoke hearts fried to crispy perfection, tossed with our housemade buffalo sauce and served with a side of ranch dressing. $6
Carrot Ribbon Salad: Ribbons of carrots and cucumbers, with thinly sliced radishes and red onions, tomato wedges, julienned jalapeno, with carrot and radish tops with a housemade vinaigrette. $5
Entrees:
Steak Pesto Caesar Salad: Crisp romaine lettuce tossed with housemade pesto, Caesar dressing, shaved parmesan cheese, croutons topped with grilled steak and a side of garlic bread. $12
Flatbread Pizza: Grilled Plums, prosciutto, arugula, goat cheese mousse, on flatbread drizzled with balsamic reduction and honey. Served with choice of side: side Caesar salad or French Fries. $12
Tomato Jam BLT: Housemade tomato jam, thick cut spicy bacon, crisp lettuce with mayonnaise on golden brown sourdough bread. Served with choice of side: Caesar salad or French fries. $10
Desserts:
Carrot Cake: Homemade carrot cake layered with cream cheese frosting garnished with chopped walnuts. $5
Lemon Tart: Miniature tart shells filled with a lemon curd and topped with whipped cream. $5
